Pauline and Lloyd have relocated to Marshall Road with brand new accommodation.

Pauline is an experienced outdoor person whose interests are mountaineering, tramping, rock climbing, mountain biking and patchwork. Lloyd is a builder, a volunteer firefighter, and has an interest in photography.

Two Bobs "Flashpackers" is 4km out of Alexandra situated in a rural area with views of the Old Man Range, Cairnmuir, Dunstan and Hawkdun Mountains.

At the foot of the property the Fraser River gurgles its way into the mighty Clutha River.

The Fraser River used to be a sought after area by the gold miners, nowadays locals can be spotted panning away in the hope of finding gold. The Fraser River is also a spawning ground for brown trout, where they migrate back into the Clutha.

Guest facilities are located in a private and separated area in the lodge and include three private bedrooms, guest shared bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a guest lounge with magnificent views of Leaning Rock on the Dunstan Mountains. The complex sleeps one double bed, and two rooms with twin beds. lLinen is supplied on all beds and no sleeping bag required. The bathroom and bedrooms are suitable for disabled persons.

This peaceful environment will recharge your overworked batteries.

Extras:

  • Close to the Millenium Track, guests can walk, run or cycle to either Alexandra or Clyde.
