HOME BLOCK Pinot Noir 2015
Deep purple with purple hues. This wine has fragrant violet, spice, smoky oak char, red cherry and a hint of dried herb on the nose.
The palate is sweet concentrated black cherry and plum. There is plenty of spice coming through the mid palate along with leather and a hint of tobacco.
Complex with ample silky fine tannins. The finish is very long with a sweet red berry flourish.

HOME BLOCK Pinot Noir 2014
This classic handcrafted pinot noir is purple with purple hues. On the nose it exhibits vibrant dark cherry fruit with violets, mocha and hints of smoky char and savoury notes. It shows concentrated, sweet black and red cherry on the palate with some coffee, spice and leather characters.
A medium bodied, complex wine, showing ample fine grained tannin and good persistence on the finish.
Enjoy on its own, or with poultry, duck, lamb, and venison dishes. This wine will continue to develop depth and complexity for 5-7 years.

A passionate expression of the special terroir of Lowburn Ferry Vineyard, crafted only in exceptional vintages.
Selected vines were specially managed during the growing season to produce this deep dark purple pinot noir. Aromas include lifted dark fruits of plum and brambles, gamey earthy characters and hints of mocha and spicy oak. The palate features rich ripe cherry with concentrated fine grained tannins and a lingering finish.
Lowburn Ferry was an historic crossing point over the Clutha River used by early settlers in Central Otago, now flooded by a hydro lake. The Ferryman lends his name to our special reserve wine crafted only in exceptional vintages.
